The Paris Internship Program is a program by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, an organization that is built to encourage cooperation in different countries and to reduce or eradicate poverty in the world. It’s a program for students aged between 18 and 25 years old who are either currently in school or graduated within the past two years. The purpose of this program is to allow students who are good in the field of studying economics or international development to experience first-hand how the OECD and the UN work. The students will get a chance to meet with politicians, diplomats, and government officials and will also be allowed to visit multiple international organizations here in Paris like the UN, the World Bank, and the ECB. The OECD Internship Program provides tuition-free internships to talented young people from developing countries, who can gain valuable work experience while they pursue their studies or while they search for employment. Apart from the internship opportunities, the Program offers participants in-depth exposure to the Organization and its work, mentoring, and training opportunities. It is a two-year program offered by the International Internship Programme, with the second year dedicated to finding a graduate-level job in the private or public sector.
