Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship 2022-23
Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship 2022-23 is a new initiative designed to encourage and develop future academic leaders by providing an intensive, three-year doctoral degree program at research universities all over the world. Funding will cover tuition, a full-time graduate student stipend, health insurance, and a technology allowance.
Microsoft’s Asia-Pacific Ph.D. Fellowship is one of the only fellowship programs in the region that focuses on real problems, especially those surrounding Microsoft’s newest tech like the cloud or artificial intelligence (AI). We aim to increase diversity and inclusion because we believe in being inclusive of all people regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, economics, or other life circumstance.
Microsoft offers PhDs in countries all over the world as part of their program called the Microsoft Research Ph.D. Fellowship. This program started in 2008 and is meant to increase interest in computing research and create a stronger community around people who are getting PhDs related to computing (in any field). The departments that participate in this include Asia Pacific, Canada, and the United States, EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa), Latin America, Australia & New Zealand.
